These tracks traverse a landscape marked out by its variety but predominantly covered in pine forest. The majority of the track winds its way along the banks of the Kloostri River. Nearby you will find some fascinating sights, including Padise Monastery, the local manor and an ancient hill fort. The network of trails in the area is diverse. The track rises 15 metres in parts, with the longest flat inclines measuring 300 metres. The longest circuit measures 6.3 km. You can take a mix-and-match approach to the tracks and trails, choosing the distance and degree of difficulty that suits you. The tracks are perfect for walking, running, hiking, cycling, Nordic walking and of course skiing when there is snow cover. There is also a separate sledding slope.
The Paide health track is fully lit along 1.1 km of its length and can be covered in both directions, forming a 2.2 km track. The lighting can be switched on by any user of the track from the main switch, which is on the wall (next to the door) of the substation building adjacent to the Padise boilerhouse. The lights are switched off by the workers at the boilerhouse.
