This track is made up of three circuits measuring 0.6 km, 2.3 km and 2.7 km.
One section of the track (1 km) is covered in woodchips, while the remainder features natural ground covering that is soft underfoot and well-maintained.
The track is suitable for walking, Nordic walking, running and cycling.
Drivers have two ways of reaching the track:
- Leave your car in Orissaare and access the track from the Leise Road intersection.
- Drive 1 km from Orissaare in the direction of Kuressaare. When you come to the village of Tumala, you will see a sign pointing you towards the health tracks. Leave your car by the sledding slope.
The track is mostly situated in the Tumala conservation area, which was founded to protect its juniper thickets, its dry meadows with their lime-rich soils (which are a key site for orchids, including the stunning Lady’s slipper), its pastureland and meadow habitats and its European crab apple growth sites.
